Welcome to the consultation on the site specific policies and allocations, and development management policies, development plan document prepared by the Joint Planning Authorities: Lancashire County Council, Blackpool Council, and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, to cover their administrative areas. This document contains sites and policies we consider could provide for the needs of the minerals and waste industry in developing facilities to deliver the objectives and targets of the Core Strategy. A summary of the document, and a brief description of the consultation process, is available by clicking here.
The consultation is now closed. You can view any representations that were submitted by clicking on the 'All comments' tab at the bottom of this page. These can be searched by date or by keyword (for example a surname or a particular statement), and can be pdf'd and your own records.

Once open you can navigate through the document by clicking in the document structure on the left of the page, or by clicking the next page/previous page icons at the top and bottom of the screen. You can also download a pdf copy of the document by clicking on the pdf icon in the top or bottom right of the screen.
Further supporting information is available by clicking on the 'supporting documents' tab below; this includes individual proposals maps, a Sustainability Appraisal and Habitats Regulations scoping report, a document describing the previous consultation stages and outlining the main issues raised through these consultations, and more detailed documents detailing all consultation responses and how issues raised have been addressed in the document.
